This is just so good. The ONE thing that's dopey is the cover line. "It's Jane... Again!" does not do it for me. It's too cutesy.

She is so elegant.

I could maybe do without the green leg-of-mutton situation here, though I know we're all smiling fondly imagining Anne Shirley's reaction. The photo itself isn't great, either. The stare is unsettling, and not in a potent, challenging way. It's more of a frozen way.

And then you juxtapose it with this, where even with only one eye, Jane is connecting more to the camera than a lot of actors in magazines can.

This woman is NOT pleased that your homework is late, and messy. Yes, I'm projecting. This is the expression I would like to level at my own children in such circumstances.

Iconic.

[Glamour's Jane Fonda Cover is FantasticI am so crushed it's never going to be on a newsstand.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/05/glamour_janefondacover-final-1651764323.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/glamours-jane-fonda-cover-is-fantastic-05-2022/)
