Everything appears to be in order here; this is the Liza I see when I close my eyes and think of Liza Minnelli, which of course happens quite often.

Natasha Richardson

This is beautiful and feels vaguely related to Gwyneth Paltrow's pink Calvin Klein Oscars gown; she was nominated for Anna Christie but lost to the aforementioned Madeline Kahn. That floating hand next to her does belong to Liam Neeson, who was also nominated and lost, and who was wearing a scarf. They did, however, met during that play so they really did win overall.

AGNES DE MILLE! She died a mere four months after this, at 88, of a stroke -- she'd had one 20 years prior, as well, and then bounced back and wrote five books.

Jane Alexander could drag that dress out and wear it now, if she wanted. Never forget that Lifetime talked her into being Queen Elizabeth in their Wills and Kate romance movie.
