Zoe Saldana

Avatar came out in 2009, so that's what she's riding in this moment. The dress is so very cute, but I don't understand the belt with it. It's basically white rope and tan leather and I think it belongs with something entirely different.

Blake Lively

She looks adorable -- she was out of her Boobs Legsly phase here I guess. Her movie with Ryan Reynolds, Green Lantern, had come out this summer, but it would be another two months before they officially started dating.

Blake famously had an in with Christian Louboutin and always wore really enviable ones. These look toe-snapping but sexy.

Taylor Swift

Cute girl. Wonder what she's up to now.

Fergie

Okay, I love this on Fergie Ferg, it's SO fun. Bring it back!

Shay Mitchell

She is impossibly gorgeous -- true then, true now. This is kicky.

Ashley Benson

This is also adorable. This is so far a very well-dressed event. Don't let 2011 get a bad rap, I guess.

Troian Bellisario

This is... a little less dreamy? It's a touch of dreary, even.

Lucy Hale

This is like the dress version of a cheese pull.

It's also faux-backless -- that's netting back there. But, you know, still pretty backless; just not perhaps perilous.

These are terrifying.

Justin Bieber

I feel like if he showed up anywhere in this now, we'd be sort of relieved.

will.i.am

He looks snappy.

Avril Lavigne

She's still two years away from marrying Chad Kroeger. Should we warn her?

Also, yes, these are her shoes. I want to point out to her that she's Canadian. Wear THAT with pride, girl.

Cameron Diaz

Back when she went to things! She looks sporty chic in this, and...

... those are some pretty badass shoes.

Kendall, Kim, Kourtney

Kim looks so ... regular! Also I think this is pre-model Kendall.

Lamar Odom with Khloe Kardashian

This is how Khloe will always look in my head.

Rachel Bilson

Hart of Dixie premiered about a month after this, so she's in full Zoe Hart mode. Aww.

Kaley Cuoco

Her dress got flipped up on her there -- I'm guessing by the wind.

Kat Graham

She may have been ahead of her time with the shoulder capes.

Cassie Scerbo

Oh, Make It Or Break It. Not enough gymnastics shows, in my opinion. That one only went three glorious seasons. She came out if it into Sharknado.

Zooey Deschanel

She probably still has this, and is wearing it right now.

Jason Derulo

I hope he still has this. Everyone should have a gold suit, no?

Nikki Reed

Likewise, this has aged well.

Tiffany Hines

Ah, the peep toe hidden platform shoe. A staple of this era. Her dress is adorable.

Maggie Q

Ehh, the white and cream... meh.

Joey King

My how they grow!!! This moppet is engaged now.

AnnaSophia Robb

That looks like someone ran over it.

Joe Jonas

It certainly could be worse.

Elizabeth Banks

This is... fine? But she could do with a zazzier shoe.

Tyra Banks

I can't remember if it's TRUE, or if I made up that Tyra wanted the jumpsuit bodice to look like the SMIZE she invented for her YA book. (Modelland is an unparalleled RIDE, hoo boy.)

Nina Dobrev

THIS IS SO GOOD. I ALSO hope she kept this.

Selena Gomez

Sorta hope she DIDN'T keep this. It feels Beach Bridesmaid, a bit.

Demi Lovato

I remember when Demi and Selena were inseparable. They posed together at this event, even.

Cory Monteith

I hope this doesn't make people too sad -- I debated putting it in here at all, but then decided that it's nice to remember him, even though it's terrible and tragic that he died.

And then Kellan Lutz showed up.

This Week in 2011, The Teen Choice Awards Loved Pretty Little Liars

And Fergie. (The Pea.)
