I sort of like this! It's different, and the fit is very loving. EXCEPT...
Meryl in Valentino

... I do not like the back. It should've all been the same fabric. Also, this photo was a perfect bridge from Gina to Meryl. Thank you, Gina. I think Meryl looks fab in that gown.

I love her jewelry. I actually think our Princess Margaret looks quite pretty, but her hair maybe seems... rushed.
Felicity Huffman in Antonio Grimaldi

She looks great. She has been FEELING IT lately.

Oh ARIEL. You know, if this whole thing had been gold, instead of netting, it might've been good.

I can't. The bodice ia 70 percent ribbon.

I don't think I dislike this, exactly, but I do wonder if she's standing up at a wedding in ten minutes.

This reminds me a little of these reversible jersey dresses they sold at Express in the early 2000s, where one side was black and one was pink or blue, and they were cut to bunch a little like that. It's light years better than the Siriano bag she wore to the Emmys, though. Another crack at her makeup might've helped.

This is really lovely. Posen has such an eye for patterns right now.

Judith Light's Judith Lightness is making me like this.
Ellie Kemper in Wai Ming

This is simple and pretty on her -- well played, milady. I also liked her "I'm Ellie Kemper and I'm an actor" intro, where she waxed poetic about how being a new mom is the greatest role of her life and then was like, "JUST KIDDING, ARE YOU CRAZY, MY BEST ROLE IS KIMMY SCHMIDT." It was sort of a nice nod at how women are often expected to give birth and then wake up cooing about how nothing else matters now.

Gorgeous. This is actually one of my favorites.

This is fairly standard/boring, so I respect the way she spiced it up with the earrings.
Maggie Siff in Zac Posen

I like the folds on the skirt better than I like the horns on the bodice.
Chrissy Teigen

This is really good on her -- it's nice to see her talk the simple/sexy tightrope so well.
