This has a real retro feel and I actually think I'd like it better if this dress were actually legit vintage and not new Michael Kors, who dressed a lot of women at this event as he was (I believe) a sponsor. I like Michael Kors, but this feels a little on the nose if it's not real vintage.

Sonali Deraniyagala and Fiona Shaw got married last year and mazel tov to them! (Sonali's husband, two children, and parents all died in the 2004 tsunami and she only survived because she held onto a tree for ages, after being swept out to sea. I cannot imagine living through that -- she wrote a beautiful book about it -- and it's wonderful that she's found love again.)
