Kelli has a tendency to Try Stuff at the Tonys and I think this is worse than what she wore last year, which I also did not like. These lace pants sort of feel like a swimsuit cover-up that Instagram is trying to sell you, and also remind me of what Vanessa Hudgens wore throughout the year she won Fug Madness. (V. Hudg was actually AT these Tonys, not wearing lace pants, and I hope they bonded over them.)

This retro construction is so pretty. The lace overlay/lining combination really work for me -- sometimes that feels lazy or like it's trying to reinvent the wheel, but this whole thing is aces.

I know this makes me a crabby old granny but I do think her tattoo there is a little distracting. (FWIW, I think the same thing about Rihanna's from time to time, and it hasn't seemed to have held RiRi back too terribly.) My argument is that the suit is REALLY good and I think that tattoo is drawing focus but she obviously made the concrete decision to wear a shirt that shows it off, so live your life, Caitlin! You seem much cooler than I am
