2020 Grammys Telecast

Sabrina Carpenter

God bless this woman for COMMITTING TO A PERFORMANCE. Even when I'm neutral on whatever song she's singing, the performance itself is always FUN. Look at this! What a showman. Showwoman. Showperson! This entire performance was CHARMING and very well thought out. 90 years ago, Sabrina Carpenter would be the biggest star in MGM's stable.

I wish I had a full shot of this dress; it is fabulous on her.

Rosé and Bruno Mars

Someone in the chat noted that she just saw this out of the corner of her eye and briefly thought Rosé was Gwen Stefani and I am sure Rosé would say this look is inspired by classic Gwen. This was also a very fun performance.

I do think Rosé could also have used Gwen's classic red lipstick. Bruno's whole vibe is vibing as usual.

Addison Rae

I am not the target market for Addison Rae's music but I AM the target market for that coat.

Lola Young

TURN THE LIGHTS ON.

Olivia Dean

This could honestly be a Maybelline commercial.

Queen Latifah and Doechii

You can't see it well here, but Queen Latifah was wearing a HUGE emerald. And, for my money, Doechii is wearing that Givenchy top better than Jenna Ortega did recently. That's a Grammys top for sure.

Queen Latifah

The Queen had several wardrobe changes. This IS a good coat.

Chappell Roan

Probs for the best she left the nipple ring dress for the red carpet; think of the people in Standards and Practices! This is pretty but it feels -- and probably was -- made for a taller human.

Lady Gaga

Who hasn't been here, emotionally?

Lady Gaga

Honestly, I think she looks amazing in this.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is doing her own Wuthering Heights press tour and it is exceptional. This is PERFECT on her.

Jeff Goldblum and Lainey Wilson

I think Lainey just changed her top from her red carpet look. And took off her jewelry. Why?! (Jeff looks normal.)

Cher

I love that this is basically her If I Could Turn Back Time bodysuit, just wrapped in some ribbons for further modesty.

Harry Styles

Girl, no. This is a total hot mess, I am sorry. (Well, his head looks good!) This is like when I am wearing my baggiest jeans to clean out my closet and I'm trying on an old blazer to see if I can still make it work, and I don't have a shirt on because I've been trying shit on all day. This is a mess of fit and proportion and really not up to his usual standards.

Charli XCX

On the other hand, she looks great in this. It's a little country and western? Steal Lainey's cowboy hat!

Trevor Noah

You couldn't have gone for the matching velvet pants, Trevor?! COME ON.

SZA

Her boob tape did valiant work -- when she accepted her award with Kendrick, she did place a hand over her bosom as if to make sure it was not going anywhere -- but mostly this is SOOOOOO GOOD on her.
