Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers and family
First of all, PLEASE LOOK AT LITTLE KYNLEE BETTS. She is adorable! I also love Mookie's wife, Brianna's, baseball purse! Mookie's parents back there also look fantastic. I DID think for a minute that Mookie was wearing blue bike shorts and tube socks and I am glad that I was wrong. (He is a man who loves a hat.)
Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers and family
Kersh looks very handsome here! His kidlets are adorable. (They did not bring the baby.) Cali, his daughter, looks JUST like him. I appreciate that they stopped for snacks.
Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves and Maria Laborde and baby
EXCUSE ME! THIS BABY! He is the cutest! He is so cute that it took me a while to realize that Ronald is very SPARKLY over there.
Jeff McNeil of the New York Mets and family
This baby is a mere one week old! I feel like Jeff's wife, Tatiana, was like, "WE ARE GOING I AM NOT MISSING THIS." (They ARE really portable at that age.) Anyway, I hope it goes without saying that I would like to eat that baby's lil feet.
Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies and family
This is the Tiny Bebe Section of the slideshow and THIS tiny baby is wearing A BOW TIE and SUNGLASSES. All these new moms look so pretty and relaxed.
Corbin Burnes of the Milwaukee Brewers and familyfamily
I told you this was the Tiny Baby Section! I THINK Corbin has his long hair back in a sensible ponytail here.
Juan Soto (of the Washington Nationals) and family
This is a GREAT look on the very handsome Juan Soto, and his whole family is so photogenic. You'd never know the Nationals refused to get him a charter so he could get to the home run derby in plenty of time because they're being totally weird to him right now. I'd be so concerned about this if I were a Nationals fan!
Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers and family
This VERY classic look seems right for Freddie Freeman. Look at those three little children! They are adorable. (Little Charlie, the oldest one, plays on the same little league -- or T-ball? I don't know what it is when they're this teeny -- as Kershaw's little boy. I would be very concerned about the level of coaching I was about to face if I were on the opposing team.)
Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and family
That Aaron Judge is a DISH and he is pulling this off!
Tyler Anderson of the Los Angeles Dodgers and family
Tyler went for the bow tie! I love it. (He was only added to the team when Carlos Rondon said he couldn't pitch and I was delighted because he's been pitching lights out but sort of under the radar. He had a no hitter into the 9th last month!)
Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs and Julie Mazur
I might have done a different shoe on Ian, but I also just looked up him and apparently the Cubs are like, "sleep well tonight, we'll most likely trade you tomorrow!!!!" to him, so he's got a lot on his mind.
CJ Cron of the Colorado Rockies and family
Dapper! The rumor is that HE might go to the Mets. I'm sure there's a lot of wheeling/dealing going on this week.
Willson Contreras of the Chicago Cubs and William Contreras of the Atlanta Braves
YES, they are brothers, and they both look great!
Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals and family
Albert Pujols is a treasure and I miss him on the Dodgers, but it's only just and right that he's back on the Cardinals for the end of his career.
Travis d'Arnaud of the Atlanta Braves and Family
Look at this little girl in her princess dress with her little wave! The cutest!
Travis d'Arnaud (of the Atlanta Braves) and BABY
I thought you might need another angle of this deliciously chonky bebe.
Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels
I do not know why all the photos I got of Shohei Ohtani make him look like a male model strutting down the runway, but it is apt because this man looks like a Disney Prince.
Jose Trevino of the New York Yankees and family
This suit is RAD and I love that his little boy, Josiah, got a matching blazer. (I also just read that he's trying to talk his wife into naming their new baby after Derek Jeter and she's like....not that enthused.)
MartÍn Pérez of the Texas Rangers and family
The Perez family looks fantastic and so well coordinated.
Brian Snitker (coach of the Atlanta Braves) and family
Brian Snitker is the coach the Braves and as the coach of the reigning World Series champs, is the coach of the National League team. Those twins are cute!
Sandy Alcantara (of the Miami Marlins) and family
Please prepare for me to just say something along the lines of "this child is so cute!!!" sixty more times, but listen -- these children are so cute and it would be unethical for me to keep this truth from you. This is such a Piano Picture!
Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres and Yainee Alonso
Listen, as a Dodgers fan, one of my great joys in life is to boo Manny Machado (he loves it), however, I must note that he looks snazzy here and I love his glasses, and her shoes are so fun.
Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians and family
As I was saying about cute children!!!
Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers and Madisyn Seager
They look nice and it was also nice to hear the Dodgers Stadium crowd give Corey, who played for us for a long time, a nice hand. We just want you to be happy, Corey!
Kyle Tucker of the Houston Astros and family
I thought he had an INSANE HAIRCUT but it turns out it's the palm frond on the step-and-repeat behind him.
Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers and family
I appreciate that MLB is honoring some of The Most Ancient Ballplayers Still Making It Work Out There, between him and Pujols. (Also, those patterns trousers are super.)
Jorge Lopez of the Baltimore Orioles and family
This child is like, "are we SURE this is a good idea?!"
Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees and Amy Crawford
Fun facts: They met at UCLA where she played softball, and her brother is Giants star Brandon Crawford. Also I accidentally typed that he played for the New York Yankers, which is A VERY DIFFERENT SPORT.
Andres Gimenez of the Cleveland Guardians and family
This baby is NOT IMPRESSED by your pomp and circumstance!
Andrew Benintendi of the Kansas City Royals
This marginally handsome doofus is not vaccinated and ergo cannot ever travel to Canada to play the Blue Jays. (This just happened. A LOT of the Royals are not vaccinated, we all just learned. Kansas City, WYD.)
Byron Buxton of the Minnesota Twins and family
WHAT EXCUSE ME THESE CHILDREN I CANNOT. Everyone here looks so jaunty!
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays and family
No one tells you that eventually you get old enough to see professional athletes whose parents you EASILY REMEMBER. So I guess that's what I'm doing here.
Gregory Soto of the Detroit Tigers and family
Someone please give this child in his white suit and sunglasses a TV show IMMEDIATELY and beam it into my EYES. He's drawing so much focus that I almost didn't notice that Gregory is wearing cropped trousers with a jazzy patterned slide.
Liam Hendriks of the Chicago White Sox and wife Kristi
FYI, this man allegedly eats a Philly cheesesteak before every home game despite, as I have noted, and the reporter who broke this pointed out, NOT PLAYING IN PHILLY. Respect.
Emmanuel Clase of the Cleveland Guardians and family
They look fab, and I love that the baby is like, "WAIT what's happening back there?!?!" He also pitched LIGHTS OUT and I'm jealous because the current Dodgers closer is Craig Kimbrel who is generally fixing to give me a medical event.
Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners and family
He looks chic AND comfy and how cute is she!?
Xander Bogaerts of the Boston Red Sox and family
This plaid is great. And "Xander Bogaerts" is an all-time good name.
Alek Manoah of the Toronto Blue Jays and family
This was a very directional fashion choice for a baseball player and he is working it! He was also mic'ed during the game -- which I generally hate, but you know. It's the All Star Game, it's silliness -- and he was actually really funny.
Santiago Espinal of the Toronto Blue Jays and family
This is a great suit; it's so fun to see all these guys and their friends and family look so RELAXED and like they're having a legit good time.
Joe Musgrove of the San Diego Padres and Arica Christensen
I love that she matched her clutch to his suit.
Pete Alonso of he New York Mets, and Haley Alsono
Pete's shoes!
Joe Mantiply of the Arizona Diamondbacks and family
We've got another highly unimpressed baby!
Miles Mikolas of the St. Louis Cardinals and family
He's got one of my favorite major league mustaches at the moment. There has been a real uptick in '80s 'staches on baseball players this year -- and I, for one, am into it.
Devin Williams of the Milwaukee Brewers
This might be my favorite suit of the evening. It's SO good.
Ryan Helsley of the St. Louis Cardinals
I couldn't get a full-length shot of Ryan. WHAT IF IT'S HOT PANTS?
Starling Marte of the New York Mets and family
Starling Marte -- another great name -- looks great here, but let's just give credit to her GREAT shoes. How many times can I use the word "GREAT" in like thirty-five words?
Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves
I've thought this before and I'm thinking it harder now: Max Fried is handsome.
Tony Gonsolin of the Los Angeles Dodgers
I LOVE IT. I have huge love for Tony, who pitched poorly last night, but who has been INSANE this season for the Dodgers. He hasn't lost a game, and he's got the second lowest ERA in the National League. He also LOVES CATS and whenever he wins a game, he posts "MeoWWWWWWW" on this Instagram, and the number of Ws is his number of wins. (You can't see it in this pic, but he's got cat paws on this suit, which Kershaw got for him because he didn't own one.) ANYWAY, this is quirky and thus I pitch a reality show where he finds love.
Austin Riley of the Atlanta Braves and Anna Riley
They were like, "we're not going to try anything TOO crazy this time."
Jake Cronenworth of the San Diego Padres and family
Unexpectedly jaunty! This color is getting more play than I would have thought.
Paul Goldschmidt of the St. Louis Cardinals and family
It appears that one of my favorite things is sunglasses on children in suits.
Dansby Swanson of the Atlanta Braves and Mallory Pugh
He's ALSO handsome -- the Braves are handsome in general, I have to admit! -- and this suit is actually really good. She's a VERY good soccer player on the US Women's National Team. They are going to have very athletic children (if they want to).
Carlos Rodón of the San Francisco Giants and family
I appreciate that she went for it even if he went Standard Issue Dude. (Although those might be rainbow socks.)
David Bednar of the Pittsburgh Pirates and family
In fact, I think the feet are where some of these dudes are willing to dip a toe -- yes, pun intended -- into something mildly interesting.
Luis Castillo of the Cincinnati Reds and family
And for a moment, I thought HE was wearing an ascot, but it is his beard.
Edwin Diaz of the New York Mets and family
I know I've said it before, but it's still true: These kids are so cute!
Trea Turner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and family
Trea looks good! They should have made him slide as his entrance.
Tricia Roberts and Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers
Dave Roberts was one of the National League coaches, and is of course the Dodgers manager. He and Mrs Roberts look good! They were high school sweethearts.
Joc Pederson of the San Francisco Giants and family
I LOVE Joc, who was a Dodger for a long time, including when we won the World Series in 2020 and IS HE WEARING A PLAID MAN JUMPER? What a treasure he is. I also love that he brought his brother, Champ! Champ is the greatest, and this has to be super fun for him.
Dusty Baker of the Houston Astros
Dusty Baker is the current manager of the Astros and coached the American League team, as they were in the World Series last year. Although the Astros are, of course, my sworn enemy unto death, he wasn't involved with the club when they stole the World Series and, let's be real, everyone loves Dusty Baker! He looks handsome.
Alejandro Kirk of the Toronto Blue Jays and family
Alejandro Kirk opened with some plaid...
Paul Blackburn of the Oakland Athletics and family
...and Paul Blackburn upped the ante! I just read a nice article about how he was going to fly commercial to the game, because he was the only guy from the A's, and the Astros gave him a ride with them. Wholesome! I appreciate that his plaid is in his team colors.
Ty France of the Seattle Mariners and Maggie France
This is like a verrrrrrry gentle plaid. The most gentle.
Luis Arráez of the Minnesota Twins and family
The plaid's been turned up a bit again! How cute is she?! And she has a snack -- a relatable queen!
J. D. Martinez of the Boston Red Sox and family
I didn't mean to put all this plaid in the same section, but who can complain about a wave of plaid?
Shane McClanahan of the Tampa Bay Rays and family
"You! You! I know you!"
Tim Anderson of the Chicago White Sox and family
Tim Anderson is a GREAT shortstop and yet who can draw attention when these two little sweetie peas are in the frame?
Justin Verlander of the Houston Astros and Kate Upton
It won't surprise you to hear that we got more shots of Kate Upton than we did of any other WAG.
Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels and family
Mike Trout has had that hair for a while and I'm always surprised by it. I wish the Angels were better for him, and for Ohtani. (And for the Angels fans! It's fun in LA when the Angels and the Dodgers are both good, and they started so hot.)
Jordan Romano of the Toronto Blue Jays and Sam Hathcoat
(a) The Blue Jays had a LOT of players on the All Star team this year, good for you, Canada! Impressive given that they're fourteen and a half games back from the Yankees. (Yes, I know the Yankees have an excellent record this season.) (b) In looking up his wife's name, I learned this man once had a truly wild beard.
Clay Holmes of the New York Yankees and Ashlyn Walter Holmes
This level of coordination is very cute.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. of the Miami Marlins and family
I'm surprised we didn't get more Fashion Shorts -- you men all have fine calves! -- but Jazz wears his well. It goes without saying that "Jazz Chisholm" is also on the list of Fantastic Baseball Names.
