I love this sweet child, and I love that his Dad is his coach. (His Dad was also an Olympic caliber skater.) He is only 18, so if all goes well, we'll be seeing a lot from him in the future. Also, we've seen this look before in the team competition, but it continues to be good for a Gladiator skate.

This is the top I'd wear with jeans! He's also got terrific hair. He skated to selections from Turandot, but it ends with the entirety of "Nessun Dorma" and, y'all....that song is a banger. Who can hear that song without dramatically throwing their arms wide at the end?! (He also fell because he missed his toe pick, which caused thousands of us to nod wisely and whisper, "The Cutting Edge" to ourselves.)

I jest because I am, as you know from previous posts, a big fan of Team Georgia! The Georgians are doing so well! This 5th place finish was the best finish for a Georgian skater ever! I feel like I really got in on this fandom on the ground floor.

Jason's free program is to the music from "Schindler's List," which is very beautiful and instinctively made me sad. He had a beautiful, beautiful Olympics and I wish there could have been a way for him to be rewarded with a medal. I also really enjoyed this article about his (genius) choreographer.
