Let's transition over into celebrating the costume designers! This look is great, and I am obsessed with that bag! She is one of the costume designers on The Masked Singer, which seems like it would be A LOT of work. (She has a LOT of experience in live TV, too.)
Marina Toybina
She has five Emmys and she won four of those in a ROW! (She is also currently working on The Masked Singer. I just keep imaging the costume department having to wrangle Rudy Giuliani into a giant fake head this year and all the faces they must have made at each other while this was happening.)
Sharen Davis
Sharen Davis is incredibly prolific, as all of these costume designers are, and works with Denzel Washington a lot. This year, however, she's up for King Richard, which I bet was fun and challenging -- a lot of old school sports outfits, which seems like it has to be a whole niche. (She also just won an Emmy for her work on Watchmen).
Salvador Pérez Jr.
You know Salvador Pérez for all the work he's done with Mindy Kaling -- he was her stylist for a long time in addition to all his costume work on all her shows. He's also the Guild president and is doing the costumes for Hocus Pocus 2, which has to be a ton of work. (FUN FACT: He also did the costumes for that Lifetime movie about William and Kate.)
Laura Montgomery
Laura Montgomery is currently one of the folks doing the costumes for What We Do In the Shadows and those costumes are SO GOOD! That show must be fun to work on.
Ami Goodheart
She arrived with Anne Heche! She's done a ton of work with musicians, in commercials, and a lot of fine art work. Like, stuff you have FOR SURE seen -- she did The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" video, for example.
Shawna Trpcic
The coat is AMAZING. She's incredibly prolific -- so many of these folks are -- and most recently has done both The Mandalorian AND Boba Fett.
Julie Weiss
A legend! (Her credits are amazing -- Steel Magnolias?! HELLO. -- and they also include MURDER SHE WROTE. I need a memoir!)
Melissa DesRosiers
All these folks are so talented -- do you remember that amazing Edward Scissorhands Super Bowl ad two years ago with Timmy Chalamet and Winona Ryder? She did that! (And a lot of other things.)
Robert Morgan
No relation! I wish, though, because I would have a LOT of things to talk about with the man who did the costumes for Dune and worked on Maleficent AND Inception AND BEHIND THE CANDELABRA! (And other things.)

She ALSO did Dune, and has done SO MANY THINGS you have seen and admired. Like, have you seen a Terrence Malick movie ever? Also a Ben Affleck one? (Directed by, I mean.)

She does James Corden's show, which actually probably has a LOT of moving parts because he does so many bits. (I love this dress.)

Suttirat Anne Larlarb
Ooh, this is interesting! She's done a lot of films (often with Danny Boyle), and she also did the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series AND No Time to Die, but she ALSO was one of the designers of the London Olympics opening ceremony! That must have been a fascinating and stressful and fulfilling project. This skirt is cool.
Derica Cole Washington
She was nominated for Zola and she's done a lot of other cool stuff. It's so interesting to me how many of these costume designers are also doing commercials -- which, of course they are, people in ads are not drinking beer or whatever in the clothes they showed up to set in, but you don't think about it the way you think about movies about aliens or Austen adaptations or whatever. (I bet a big commercial is decent money and it doesn't suck up like a year of your life, too. I HOPE.)
Mitchell Travers
This is so snazzy! He had a very big year, because he did In the Heights AND The Eyes of Tammy Faye. He also did Hustlers! (He was apparently also a PA on Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which I just SENSE was an experience.)

She has done a TON of stuff, including a lot of music videos that you have for sure seen.

I love this vibe. She, yes, is also incredibly talented -- she did Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk, and many other interesting projects. Hooray for all the costume designers!
