2023 Gold Gala

Stephanie Hsu

I LOVE this on her. It's so luxe and tactile and cool. She's been having an amazing year, stylistically -- she looked killer at the Met Gala, too.

Ke Huy Quan

This is STELLAR.

Harry Shum Jr.

ALSO stellar; the cast of EEAAO really brought it here. (I don't believe Michelle Yeoh attended but whatever she was doing, I'm sure she also brought it. Even if she was, like, cleaning out her closet.)

Awkwafina

This feels a little unfinished. Does it maybe need a belt?

Ashley Park

Maybe Ashley can loan her a belt!

This is fun and she looks kicky. The shoes are a high note.

This is SO good.

Lisa Ling

She looks lovely; I do think this might could do with a cuff bracelet?

This is also simple and pretty. I MIGHT wish for a color but not that ardently; she looks good, plus, it's archival, so we get what we get.

China Chow

This is very elegant.

Jamie Chung

This is maybe a LITTLE prom/bridesmaids, but....not in a bad way, if that makes sense?

Ming-Na Wen

Lots of sequins at this party!

Eva Longoria

I'm always going to ask you something about this length, you know that. But here...I think I dig it.

Iman Vellani

I continue to be weary of sheers but they appear to be here to stay. From the waist up, she looks so great, though!

Lee Rodriguez

Unusual, and cool.

This might be a little long on her but that's a nitpick; she looks great here.

Bella Poarch

This is cool AND she looks like she might be a very chic character in a prestige HBO drama set in a dystopian future.

Daniel Dae Kim

As elegant as ever.

Jessica Henwick

This dress is very fun and vintage-feeling, if not actual vintage. I might have gone a different way with the styling and slicked her hair back.

Ross Butler

Fun and unexpected -- although he's always a natty dresser.

Eugene Lee Yang

I MEAN. MAJOR!

Lauren Tom

This is fairly unassailable on her, truly. I love it.

Tan France

This is (unsurprisingly) very chic on him.

Chloe Bennet

ALSO very chic! Chloe, I'm sorry I accidentally grabbed a snap where you look mildly irritated.

I'm generally not a fan of gloves. But THESE gloves work.

Geena Rocero

We've seen this look on other people a few times and it's so much better on almost everyone than you'd think it would be if I just described it to you. She looks very cool (and is so pleated).

Prabal Gurung

He always looks handsome and I did include this simply because I think he's dreamy.

Alan Kim

BIG FINISH!
