Who are you pulling for? What are you surprised by? For me, the big surprise is Andrea Riseborough sneaking into Best Actress. [Her campaign worked](https://www.vulture.com/2023/01/andrea-riseborough-to-leslie-oscar-buzz-timeline.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)! Vanity Fair, as ever,[ is well on top of the "snubs and surprises" pieces in case you want to see what an actual professional thinks](https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2023/01/awards-insider-oscar-nominations-snubs-surprises?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I've got a lot of movies to watch between now and March!

Okay, also important: Riz Ahmed continues to be a snack even in a suit that someone's dad *definitely* sported in 1978, and Allison Williams was correct to go for the elusive and dramatic Daytime Cape. They don't *not* look like they've on the new season of *Andor.*
