She was walking VERY very very gingerly when she came onstage to present an award. There is a slit in this dress that you can't see in this photo and I believe it was a PERILOUS SURPRISE.

She was nominated for featured actress in a musical and all I know is that she seems really fun. She specifically said she wanted to look like a mermaid for this event and this is a great mermaid outfit.

I am lukewarm on these slits in gowns just because everyone ends up standing cautiously, holding them shut. Otherwise, this dress is totally pretty on her, and her jewelry is great.
