(Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) Naomi is really carrying on Serena's legacy of wild outfits. (In one of her interviews, she remembered a particular defeat as bothering her because she had been in one of her favorite ensembles.) The purple poof is the one she wore for almost every round after the first. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232563341-1756963753.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 28: The labubu of Naomi Osaka of Japan is seen before their Women's Singles Second Round match against Hailey Baptiste of the United States on Day Five of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 28, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) And it had a matching Labubu -- I cannot care about these, but if they bring people joy, have at it -- and she gave them names. Billie Jean Bling and LaBillieBoo, after BJK; Arthur Flash, after Arthur Ashe; and Althea Glitterson, after Althea Gibson; and Andre Swaggasi, after Agassi. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232565298-1756963773.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 28: The shoes of Naomi Osaka of Japan are seen during their Women's Singles Second Round match against Hailey Baptiste of the United States on Day Five of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 28, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) I'm sad she only wore this combo once! ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231554422-1756964111.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 26: Naomi Osaka of Japan walks onto the court to play against Greet Minnen of Belgium in the first round on Day 3 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 26, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) The nonchalance is a hoot. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231554711-1756964085.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 26: Naomi Osaka of Japan walks onto the court to play against Greet Minnen of Belgium in the first round on Day 3 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 26, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) The roses in her hair were a sight to behold... ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232283385-1756963815.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Naomi Osaka of Japan removes her headdress for her Women's Singles First Round match on Day Three against Greet Minnen of Belgium at the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Susan Mullane/ISI Photos/ISI Photos via Getty Images) ... as was her fully removing them to get down to business. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231564921-1756964094.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 26: Naomi Osaka of Japan holds up her Labubu while talking to the media after defeating Greet Minnen of Belgium in the first round on Day 3 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 26, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) I believe this was Althea Glitterson. ## Taylor Townsend ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232430464-1756963832.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: Taylor Townsend of the United States reacts against Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia during their Women's Singles Second Round match on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) Taylor said the fire skirt was because she's a phoenix. I LOVED watching her play and was so sad when she lost to Krejcikova after not converting EIGHT match points. Credit to Barbora, though, hot damn. ## Taylor Townsend ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232042309-1756963967.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Taylor Townsend of the United States returns a shot against Antonia Ruzic of Croatia during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) She also had this cute pleated situation. (She's the top-ranked doubles team, too, playing in the finals today. GO TAYLOR.) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232790535-1756963741.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 29: Taylor Townsend of the United States reacts after defeating Mirra Andreeva during their Women's Singles Third Round match on Day Six of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 29, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Mike Stobe/Getty Images) The JOY. Wonderful. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232430337-1756963823.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia (R) argues with Taylor Townsend of the United States (L) following their Women's Singles Second Round match on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) This really soured it. Penko held that grudge for almost an entire set and then uncorked on her after the match ended. It was not necessary and Taylor handled it with extreme grace. What sucks for her is that if she had fallen anything shy of perfect in that moment, people would have laid into her for that more than they did Ostapenko. But she was cool as hell. ## Baldcaraz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232431994-1756963796.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: Carlos Alcaraz of Spain walks onto the court prior to his Men's Singles Second Round match against Mattia Bellucci of Italy on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) Everyone briefly lost their minds when Carlitos showed up with a buzz cut. Frances Tiafoe was like, "Oh, it's horrendous." (They're pals.) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232113889-1756963871.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Carlos Alcaraz of Spain celebrates after defeating Reilly Opelka of the United States during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) I love him. His purple was gorgeous, and, well, the arms too. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2233436923-1756963677.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 02: Carlos Alcaraz of Spain plays a tweener against Jiri Lehecka of Czechia during their Men's Quarterfinal match on Day Ten of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on September 2, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) He also busted out a great pink. Jason Momoa would be proud. ## Venus Williams ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232086240-1756963890.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Venus Williams of the United States walks onto the court prior to her match against Karolina Muchova of Czech Republic during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images) This outfit is a tribute to Althea Gibson. Venus, please keep going, I love you. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232920597-1756963699.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 30: Venus Williams of the United States acknowledges the crowd with Leylah Fernandez of Canada (not pictured) after defeating Ulrikke Eikeri of Norway and Eri Hozumi of Japan following the Women's Doubles Second Round match on Day Seven of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 30, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) LOOK how delighted she is. This is also swishy and great. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2233255768-1756963711.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 01: Venus Williams of the United States celebrates with partner Leylah Fernandez of Canada (not pictured) after defeating Shuai Zhang of China and Ekaterina Alexandrova in their Women's Doubles Third Round match against on Day Nine of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on September 1, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images) I love a print. ## Coco Gauff ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232272274-1756963861.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 26: Coco Gauff of the United States returns against Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Three of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 26, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) Coco seemed run down and DEEPLY in her own head. It's gotta be hard knowing that the cameras are on you during practice, watching to see how you're tweaking your serve, which you are also doing in the MIDST of a tournament. Her outfits were fine. We had a lot of midriff this year. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232910872-1756963731.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 30: Coco Gauff of the United States returns to Magdalena Frech of Poland during their Women's Singles Third Round match on Day Seven of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 30, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City.(Photo by Susan Mullane/ISI Photos/ISI Photos via Getty Images) Once again with feeling: I love sports photography. ## Amanda Anisimova ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2233593926-1756963688.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 03: Amanda Anisimova of the United States reacts after defeating Iga Swiatek of Poland following the Women's Quarterfinal match on Day Eleven of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on September 3, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images) As I type this, I'm watching the superior semifinal between her and Naomi Osaka. Screw anyone who says women don't deserve equal prize money because they don't play best of five sets (ahem, Djokovic). They were warriors. I like Amanda's hot red shoes, even though they don't really go. ## Casper Ruud ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232100106-1756963901.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Casper Ruud of Norway reacts against Sebastian Ofner of Austria during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images) Having just enjoyed Amanda's unmatching shoes, I love how his colors subtly tie into his here. This is pretty slick. ## Magdalena Frech ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232878108-1756963719.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 30: Magdalena Frech of Poland reacts while playing against Coco Gauff of the United States during their Women's Singles Third Round match on Day Seven of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 30, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) The pattern on her hem is SO great. More patterns, please. ## Polina Kudermetova ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232442734-1756963780.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: Polina Kudermetova returns against Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus during their Women's Singles Second Round match on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) Lacoste did well for itself. SO many alligators. ## Aryna Sabalenka ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232443091-1756963789.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus reacts against Polina Kudermetova during their Women's Singles Second Round match on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) The pink here shows through more on the back, too. It's good. Also, she is SO FIERCE. I don't know how anyone can stand there knowing she's about to serve at them and not cry. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231870636-1756964029.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Aryna Sabalenka reacts against Rebeka Masarova of Switzerland during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) I liked this version, too. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232441879-1756963807.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 27: A view of the shoes worn by Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus against Polina Kudermetova during their Women's Singles Second Round match on Day Four of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 27, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) Her shoes look sort of shark-y. ## Ajla Tomljanovic ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232275464-1756963842.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 26: Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia reacts against Coco Gauff of the United States during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Three of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 26, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Mike Stobe/Getty Images) The cartoon penguin logo makes me laugh. ## Joao Fonseca ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232035556-1756963958.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Joao Fonseca of Brazil returns a shot against Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) I appreciate his hit of pink, too. I am SO TIRED of the ESPN crew trying to create hype around this kid as the next Alcaraz. We still have the current Alcaraz! He can be the first Joao Fonseca. Also, he's still only 19, so everyone give him time. He'll get there, but right now it's such a man-made lake to me and I'm tired of it. ## Zeynep Sonmez ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231407555-1756964135.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Zeynep Sonmez of Turkey in action against Katie Volynets of the United States in the first round on Day 2 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) Pink really had a moment. I welcome it! ## Renata Zarazua ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231407886-1756964127.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Renata Zarazua of Mexico in action against Madison Keys of the United States in the first round on Day 2 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) Is that... SATINY pink??? ## Ben Shelton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232193294-1756963882.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Ben Shelton of USA during his first round match against Ignacio Buse of Peru on day one of the 2025 US Open Tennis Championships at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York City. (Photo by Jean Catuffe/Getty Images) He loves the rainbow look. He also got hurt fairly badly, I think, which sucks. He seems like a nice kid and he and Trinity Rodman are VERY cute together. ## Holger Rune ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232081578-1756963912.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Holger Rune of Denmark reacts to match point against Botic van De Zandschulp of the Netherlands during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) Holger couldn't go deep in the tournament because he had to go promote [his starring role in The Summer I Turned Pretty](https://media.gq.com/photos/65bc35d3dd48d6efe9cd31f1/16:9/w%5F3712,h%5F2088,c%5Flimit/CHRIS%20BRINEY-MekhiTurner.jpeg?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ## Maria Sakkari ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232081751-1756963922.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Maria Sakkari of Greece serves against Tatjana Maria of Germany during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) This is like a weird ode to a wrestling singlet. ## Miomir Kecmanovic ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232043753-1756963930.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia returns a shot against Joao Fonseca of Brazil during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images) So many men and women wore this kit, and I HATE it. It looks like gigantic torso bandage. ## Elise Mertens ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232065845-1756963948.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Elise Mertens of Belgium reacts against Alyssa Ahn of the United States during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) I don't know why I find it funny that Zales is sponsoring tennis players. ## Victoria Mboko ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2232010269-1756963975.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Victoria Mboko of Canada plays a forehand shot against Barbora Krejcikova of Czechia during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day Two of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. In a good way. ## Jessica Pegula ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231909893-1756964021.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Jessica Pegula of the United States returns a shot against Mayar Sherif of Egypt during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images) I liked it even more on the women. Poor Jessica; I was really rooting for her against Sabalenka but she just couldn't keep it up. ## Tomas Machac ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231875896-1756964041.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Tomas Machac of Czech Republic celebrates match point against Luca Nardi of Italy during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) I did not expect this choice. I sort of keep expecting a Monty Python animated character to poke up out of those clouds. ## Djoker ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231903693-1756964052.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Novak Djokovic of Serbia reacts against Learner Tien of the United States during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) Her sports bra never seemed to be doing much SUPPORTING, but she wore it every round, so it must have been fine? ## Veronika Kudermetova ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231867354-1756964073.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Veronika Kudermetova reacts against Janice Tjen of Indonesia during their Women's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City. Oh well. I DO like orange. ## Madison Keys ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231407723-1756964119.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Madison Keys of the United States in action against Renata Zarazua of Mexico in the first round on Day 2 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) I really felt for Maddie, too. She won the first slam of the year, and went out in the first round of the last. Still pretty sure she'd take that deal if she'd been offered it in advance. ## Peyton Stearns ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231407717-1756964144.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 25: Peyton Stearns of the United States in action against Darja Semenistaja of Latvia in the first round on Day 2 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 25, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) Sure, why not. ## McCartney Kessler ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231087961-1756964169.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: McCartney Kessler of the United States in action against Magda Linette of Poland in the first round on Day 1 of the US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in New York City (Photo by Robert Prange/Getty Images) I am a sucker for pleated tennis skirts, and that teal is great. ## Daniil Medvedev ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231217651-1756964160.jpg) Russia's Daniil Medvedev reacts during his men's singles first round tennis match against France's Benjamin Bonzi on day one of the US Open tennis tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, on August 24, 2025\. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images) This was him essentially egging the booing crowd on, and they were into it. Sigh. It was a WILDLY ENTERTAINING piece of derangement, but nobody was covered in glory here, fans included. (Well, except for Bonzi. He was just trying to live his life.) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231217505-1756964152.jpg) TOPSHOT - Russia's Daniil Medvedev breaks his racket after losing his men's singles first round tennis match against France's Benjamin Bonzi on day one of the US Open tennis tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, on August 24, 2025\. (Photo by CHARLY TRIBALLEAU / AFP) (Photo by CHARLY TRIBALLEAU/AFP via Getty Images) After, Meddie started beating up his racket. He'd bash it, take a break, bash it some more... I think he did four stints. Then he didn't leave the court so they started Bonzi's interview with him sitting right there. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/09/GettyImages-2231920788-1756964003.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 24: Daniil Medvedev breaks his racket after losing in five sets to Benjamin Bonzi of France during their Men's Singles First Round match on Day One of the 2025 US Open at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 24, 2025 in the Flushing neighborhood of the Queens borough of New York City.
