(Photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images) This was, per her stylist, [a reference to Grace Kelly's 1956 Oscars gown](https://www.vanityfair.com/style/story/jessie-buckley-chanel-grace-kelly?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Kelly did not win that year, she was just a presenter -- she presented Ernest Borgnine with his Oscar, and [she took off the top wrap for the ceremony, so this is a bit of a deep cut](https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/actors-jack-lemmon-jo-van-fleet-and-ernest-borgnine-holding-news-photo/585278381?adppopup=true&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). It's definitely not the most iconic Grace Kelly Oscars gown -- which probably would have felt a bit too on the nose. All that yapping aside, I think she looks FANTASTIC in this. I was worried she was gonna veer kinda weird and I am relieved that did not happen. ## Nicole Kidman in Chanel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-2266289049-1773640430.jpg) Hollywood, CA - March 15, 2026: Nicole Kidman arrives on the red carpet at the 98th Annual Academy Awards held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA, Sunday, March 15, 2026\. (Christina House / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images) Honestly? This is spectacular to me. THIS is vaguely weird but not in a bad way, and she looks gorgeous. Single Nicole Kidman IS BACK. ## McKenna Grace in custom Vera Wang ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-2266257670-1773624361.jpg) McKenna Grace at the 98th Annual Oscars held at Dolby Theatre on March 15, 2026 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Savion Washington/Penske Media via Getty Images) This is VERY pretty and it feels like Vera Wang finally got a go at re-doing Gwyneth Paltrow's Oscar gown. I do think it's a bit much of a dress for someone who is not nominated but god knows I understand the impulse to wear it. ## Chase Infiniti in custom Louis Vuitton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-2266682910-1773624395.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 15: Chase Infiniti attends the 98th Oscars at Dolby Theatre on March 15, 2026 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by John Shearer/WireImage) I think this looked better on TV than it does in photos. She's had a GREAT awards season and I welcome the return of this color but...is this TOO much ruffle? Does it look a little bit like she's got a bedspread attached to her hip? No worries if so, she will CERTAINLY be here again. ## Ji-young Yoo in Carolina Herrera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-2266673825-1773624383.jpg) HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 15: Ji-young Yoo attends the 98th Oscars at Dolby Theatre on March 15, 2026 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Arturo Holmes/Getty Images) Absolutely perfect; she told Zuri Hall that she loved this dress's slight reference to a hanbok. It's beautiful on her. ## Emily V. Gordon ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-2266257694-1773624370.jpg) Emily V. I also love this Nice Cruella deVil thing that's happening with her hair right now. [2026 Oscars: Jessie Buckley Won Her Oscar in PinkPlus, the rest of the pinks and the purples, including a very ruffly Chase Infiniti and a feathery Nicole Kidman.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2026/03/gettyimages-2266696711-1773624404.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/2026-oscars-jessie-buckley-won-her-oscar-in-pink-03-2026/)
