Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in custom Louis Vuitton

There were so many pics of Matthew Rhys helping Keri Russell with her train and, yes, I downloaded more than one of them. They're so charming. He seems like a wonderful train wrangler. A..traingler.

Tah-dah! I think this train was a bit of a pain for her to wrangle, but she surely didn't think she would win -- she rarely does! (Although she often should!) What a pleasant surprise. Traingling issues aside, this is gorgeous on her and she looks fantastic. The lips! The earrings! Fantastic.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Givenchy

The fit on this is verrrrrrry precise and so should it be. Although I think the proportions here look sort of weird, I ALSO think she looks pretty good -- and those earrings are perfect.

Kristen Wiig in Christian Cowan

As promised, side-boob is back! (Also, I fear this photo is weirdly blurry. Are people filtering themselves in real life?) Anyway -- this is not really my jam but also I cannot say with good conscience that she looks bad. I also think Kristen Wiig herself would make a joke about the power of double-sided tape here, so I feel fine about doing that myself.

Mindy Kaling in Yara Shoemaker

Mindy's head looks great but I do not care for this at all. The sheer picture-frame bodice is perplexing; imagine that part of the dress just being opaque. Better, right?

Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford

Here are two reasonable and good-looking people! (Calista's earrings are also great. A lot of good earrings last night.)

Britt Lower in Colleen Allen

Does this require a zippier lip? She looks a bit wan.

Rufus Sewell

HANDSOME.

Laura Miller Rogen and Seth Rogen

He looks very reasonable, she looks quite gorgeous -- business as usual with the Miller-Rogen family.

Noah Wyle and Sara Wells

He looks very reasonable, she looks quite gorgeous -- business as usual with the Wyle-Wells family.

Natasha Rothwell in Naeem Khan

I must be wholly honest: I love this. She looks so glamorous in it! What a babe.

Mark Indelicato

I love the neckline here, but is this entire thing reading SLIGHTLY daytime?

Sarah Bock in Jenny Packham

She's nineteen and this feels perfect for a teenager. It's very pretty and not at all childish, but it's also not too sophisticated.

Patrick Ball in Thom Browne

The rakish tie and his general vibe in this photo makes it feel like his car broke down and he had to run to the red carpet.

Adam Scott and Naomi Scott

Adam, too, appears to have perhaps had to run.

Oliver Hudson

I have a lot of questions. (Also, this is a terrible photo of Oliver Hudson, who I promise you looks facially as you remember him. He's just making a face here.)

Liza Colón-Zayas

Pants! Yes! Let's see more formal pants.

William Jackson Harper and Ali Ahn

He's dreamy, obviously, and she looks so glam and good in this. I didn't know they were together!

Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova

She is so pretty! I might have done a lightly more unusual shoe but also -- no one is going to get actively upset about anything happening here.

Ike Barinholtz

"I'm trying out some new hand positions for the red carpet!"

Toni Lynn Washington and Miles Caton

Miles Caton brought his grandma as his date and she got to see him win! This is wholesome and delightful, and she looks great!

Eiza González

Haul out the REASONABLE klaxon, this is very pretty and she looks great. It might not be hugely memorable, but nor need it be.

Irina Shayk

Someone in our live chat said this looks like Jessica Rabbit and now that's all I can see. I think this is...like 14% too much.

Chloe Zhao

"Let's get this show on the road. I have a big coven potluck at 11 and my buffalo chicken dip waits for no man."

Damson Idris in Prada

This is the best imitation of a SAG award I've ever seen. Delightful!
