The Big Game is nigh, which means we are almost done with seeing ads for The Weeknd's Halftime Show, and thus, soon we might not have "Blinding Lights" in our head 24/7\. His M.O. of late has been to appear at shows with an increasing number of fake bandages and made-up -- by which I mean, invented, and also created via makeup -- bruises, followed by [an elaborate pretense of plastic surgery](https://uproxx.com/music/the-weeknd-plastic-surgery-meaning/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). So I'm curious if he'll go back to more standard showmanship, or if he will perform the entire show wearing someone else's head, or what.

Anyway: Before we drink in this year's offering, we should reflect on those that came before it. Specifically, Carol Channing. CAROL CHANNING. Can we please get a TV retrospective so that we can all enjoy that?
