It took me FOREVER to figure out what the hell was happening at this event. Look, we live in weird times: Did it seem slightly odd to me that everyone was going to Restoration Hardware together? Yes. Did that particular Restoration Hardware have, at one point, A VALET and a ROOFTOP BAR? Yes. So anything is possible. But I guess Portia de Rossi is doing some art-related blah blah something something with them -- [even Artnet seems kinda confused](https://news.artnet.com/market/gray-market-portia-de-rossi-startup-1289384?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- which also explains why apparently this particular Restoration Hardware is wallpapered with giant pictures of Portia de Rossi. Honestly, this entire post feels like something I might have hallucinated, but like 2018 itself, it is all real.
