This is all very pretty -- obviously, this is a glorious place to get married, which is why almost everyone in the royal family goes for it. The floral decorations look AMAZING, and they got very good weather today.

This gives us a bit of a better look at the lace detailing on her dress, and that tiara. The Court Jeweller has all the details there; it's the Kent family piece, as you would imagine. It's a fairly classic tiara, obviously. I am not personally a fan of the fringe profile on a tiara because, although they are so sparkly, they look sort of STABBY to me? I guess I'll have to deal with this on my own when I end up marrying...ugh, did we decide that I have to marry Andrew now that Harry is off the market? This is going to be a trial, friends.

I included this shot because I don't think I've ever seen a professional photo snapped from this part of Windsor Castle. (The castle is at the photographer's back; usually these professional numbers are shot from across the street. If you visit Windsor, though, this is the little street you tromp down to get to the chapel from the castle.)

First of all, there are some HATS happening behind Anne, as well as on Anne's own head. Second, does Anne not look like she's examining the rampart to make sure there's no forthcoming invasion?

Beatrice looks potentially very pretty here (it's hard to tell for certain when we're just getting the side view; what if the other side of her body is engulfed in flames?). I can only assume this engagement is forthcoming.

BEHOLD THE MIDDLETONS! I learned today that Pippa and the groom are old friends, so perhaps his family and theirs are tight. How convenient, they already know half of the bride's extended family! This is all very As Usual; Carole back there looks VERY much like herself and also like Kate (Kate is going to look just like Carole eventually, which is fine for her as Carole is very pretty), and I assume Kate is also the person who shoved that headband on Pippa's noggin before they left the house. (She's in Kate Spade, otherwise. Her dress IS on sale.) I REALLY need to know more about the hat in the background, which looks like a cake that someone has stuck two tiny flags into.

This is the brother of the bride and his wife, who looks very pretty if QUITE dramatic, with all the feathers. (She was an actress and was also in a terrible car accident a few years ago; she seems to be doing very well now, which is a blessing.) They were married at HAMPTON COURT, which I understand is a popular wedding venue but if I were marrying into the royal family, I would not risk it. Hoo boy, a lot of things went poorly for royal wives there.

Lady Helen is also a Kent and was once, per Wiki, a muse to Armani. I don't believe she's wearing Armani here, but I like her dress very much. The internet has implied to me that she used to be a real party girl, and clearly I need to know more about this.

I'm not sure who this is with Amelia (Amelia is the shorter woman). Is that her sister Marina? I also have some....concerns about these ensembles. Do we think they MEANT to look so coordinated, or just arrived at the same time and looked at each other and laughed?

Here are the Gloucesters. We don't see them out a lot, and I kinda of LOVE Birgitte's entire look? When I am 72, this is how I plan to dress for weddings of distant relatives.
