How apt that I am writing this post right now, because I literally just finished reading[ a very interesting profile in the New York Times about Abbi Jacobson and this new series](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/05/arts/television/a-league-of-their-own-abbi-jacobson.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which is based on the film, but has different characters and is telling a wider array of stories than the movie did, including stories of Black women. I LOVE *A League of Their Own* and really hope this Amazon series is good! What I can tell you is that the red carpet was very enjoyable.
