Geena Davis in Nicole Miller

This is hilarious whimsy. Between this and her awesome clarity on the whole sheer dress, and her pivot to archery, I think she might be a real Drinks With Broads star.

Geena and Lynn Cartwright

When I watched this movie, I REFUSED to believe that Older Dottie wasn't Geena in aging makeup. Like, I would have willingly accepted "IMDb conspiracy" even YESTERDAY if you really wanted to convince me. But, here they are. I'm sure some of the effect is that they dubbed her with Geena's voice, but still, it's pretty fantastic casting.

Is Tom in a tailcoat, or is that just a shadow?

Cindy Crawford

The Revlon hat is a bit much, Cindy.

I hope someone sent Michelle Williams this jacket.

Margot Kidder

She looks great. Also, we just watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I realized that she and Karen Allen look a lot like. I know who each of them IS, and I don't confuse them when I see them, but sometimes if I'm trying to picture them my brain needs a minute to match their faces correctly.

Karyn Parsons

It's Hilary from Fresh Prince! Not someone who hit the red carpet very often. She just wrote a book, by the way, which was quite well-reviewed.

I... think I had that skirt?

Sensible!

EVERYTHING about this seems oversize. Including the glasses.

This is the New York premiere. Rita's shoes look pleasantly witchy.

Madonna and Rosie

Madonna skipped the LA screening in favor of this one. Rosie's jacket makes her look like a massive New Orleans Saints fan, and it is HILARIOUS to me that Madge wore jorts. She looks like she got dressed assuming she'd be behind a desk, or a large potted plant.

Ambiance. Being famous would be... terrible.

Our sources had some film stills, too. I love these uniforms, and how Dottie wears the catcher's pad like armor.

OUCH.

This was one of the movie posters, and I... hate it. I don't know when it was suggested, or whether it ever gained traction; I just found it online and it's the pits. Yeah, the movie shows that the women were belittled by the efforts to advertise the league, but there's nuance in it that this sincere Sexy Lady Baseball nonsense completely misses.

And THIS poster, of course, puts Tom Hanks first, when it 100 percent should be Geena. And of course they went with the still of Madonna dancing and not baseballing. It's also a weird image of her face?

This is, I guess, a compromise -- Geena feels like she's FIRST even though Tom is centered -- but I don't know why they both look like theirs are normal photos and then Madonna's is like a heavily tweaked rendering.

Did You Know Geena Davis Dressed as a Baseball at the 'League of their Own' Premiere?
BULL TRUE.
