I did not think I'd by typing the words, "Is Doja Cat British" into my Google Box this weekend but here we are! She is *not*; she's from Los Angeles, which I thought I knew, but then I was overcome with doubt. Sometimes people are secretly British! (Sidebar to note that [Doja Cat's Wikipedia is surprisingly interesting](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doja%5FCat?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) Anyhoodle, this is an event that Edward Enninful hosts the weekend before the Met Gala when a lot of celebs -- and he himself -- are in NYC for the inviting and, listen, would you say no to the EIC of *British Vogue* if he asked you to come to a party? Not I!
