Jodie Comer in Givenchy

We might as well start with the worst, which Jodie Comer wore to a New York screening. Compare this to the Givenchy that Taylor Swift had earlier in the day, and it's even MORE tragic. I do not understand why ANYONE is drawn to these anymore, after mountains of evidence that they're BORING AF in addition to being not cute. I wish all the stylists would band together and refuse delivery.

Is this a dress or a coat? It could be both. It's very The Matrix, and the polar opposite of the lacy dress. Perhaps she deals only in extremes now.

I prefer Jodie's bright tailored suit leather-y suit (no idea what the material actually is, but it has a familiar sheen to it). I realize it's not a contest, but if summer leather is a thing, then it seems more appealing at least in a color.

This suit might be my favorite, although she's going to need to walk me through the neckerchief. It's almost like it's only there to make sense of the red eye makeup. Or vice-versa. Could've done without BOTH, in fact, but I enjoy the basic concept of suiting on her and hope she keeps mixing that in.

A Tale of Two Jodies

Jodie Turner-Smith is out promoting season two of The Agency, and Jodie Comer has The Death of Robin Hood. If only Jodie Foster had a project, then we could have a whole flock of Jodies.
