I love the look of this cover, but I feel like the top of the pyramid looks better than the rest. Storm Reid looks super self-assured, Reese looks like she's reading something that's slowly pissing her off the deeper she gets into it, Oprah might be having a vision, and Mindy Kaling looks like she's trying to keep a straight face by remembering whatever she learned in Lamaze class.

The photo used with the article is better, I think. There is more power, and fewer glazed eyes.

I read A Wrinkle In Time, and even one of the follow-ups, and WOW do I have no memory of them. I don't even recall any of the characters or their names except for Meg's, and totally can't remember the plot, so: Well done, me! Apparently staring at screens all day for the past 20 years really has done its work on my brain. Mindy looks really lovely in this pic, though.

Oprah also looks a lot better in purple lipstick, bejewelled eyebrows, and a white wig than I would've thought. So that's one more thing she has going for her.

This is the worst of them, for me. It's unflattering to Reese, and it JUST looks like her in a bad wig and a lab coat or something. She's almost not quite recognizable, whereas the other two very much are.

I'm really excited to see waht she can do. There's a real presence in all the photos and in the trailers. I had also forgotten that Meg's last name doesn't have an 'A' before the Y at the end. It doesn't matter, but because that's always how I expect to see it, I keep wanting to correct it. This happens to me too when I pronounce a celeb's name in my head a certain way for ages, and then am so startled when I finally hear it said out loud that I have to swallow the urge to be like, "No, Alicia, it's pronounced 'VIKE-ander,'" or whatever.
