Thirty years ago this weekend, Aaron Spelling, [per this contemporaneous (and slightly snarky) article at the LA Times](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1993-02-01-vw-909-story.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), "received the Scopus Laureate Award from the American Friends of the Hebrew University," and got great support from both the cast of *Beverly Hills, 90210* and *Melrose Place*, with a special appearance by (of course) Joan Collins. If your day has felt lacking in footage of Luke Perry chatting with Joan Collins, I can actually fix that for you:

And the snaps within bring you some iconic couples, some couples that predate other iconic couples, great dimples, big sleeves, multiple nepo babies of yore, and Gabrielle Carteris dressing like a middle-aged woman even on her day off!
