# ACM Awards Fug Carpet: Sara Evans

Not being a huge country music aficionado, I am mostly familiar with Sara Evans here because she had like a SUPER JUICY divorce a couple of years ago, and *Us Weekly* kept me totally informed about the shenanigans.

[As Wikipedia recapped it,](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sara%5FEvans?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) "On October 12, 2006, Evans left *Dancing with the Stars*, citing personal reasons, and the following day it was revealed that Evans had filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Craig Schelske. Documents filed by Evans' husband accused the singer of having close to a dozen affairs, including singer/songwriter Richard Marx, country star Kenny Chesney, Dancing with the Stars partner Tony Dovolani, various members of Evans' band, and four of the five members of the rock band 3 Doors Down." That reads like an article from *The Onion* \-- I mean, Richard Marx *and* FOUR OUT OF FIVE members of 3 Doors Down? That's too soap operatic to be true and is obviously just mud-slinging. Although considering that she's dressed like someone in the background of one of the episodes of *Dynasty* where Krystal Carrington decides to throw a gala and ends up rolling around in a lily pond, maybe she did nail three of the five.
