(Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images for AFI) BEHOLD, the new cast of the next *Knives Out*. (Not really.) (OR IS IT.) (I want a check for this, Rian!!!) ## Ariana Grande and Kristen Bell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198054635-1738883323-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Ariana Grande and Kristen Bell attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) This is ABSOLUTELY one of those events were no one knows exactly what to wear, because it's technically an awards event but also it starts at noon. I love K.Bell's dress but not for this. Ariana continues to look like a Victorian ghost. (I actually love her weird dress but her styling is washing her out so much lately.) ## Jodie Foster ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198042571-1738883118-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Jodie Foster attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) This feels like it's doing a pretty good job of threading that Formal (????) Mid-Day question. ## Ayo Edebiri and Cynthia Erivo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198054871-1738883356-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Ayo Edebiri and Cynthia Erivo attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) Ayo has nailed it, and Cynthia just decided to go 101 Dalmatians. FWIW, I LOVE that coat. ## Stephanie Beatriz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198040121-1738882992-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Stephanie Beatriz attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) This is understated, in its way, but also feels too evening for me. FWIW I would have NO IDEA what to wear to this. I think I'd just wear a really nice day dress. ## Jason Segel and Harrison Ford ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198040538-1738883026-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Jason Segel and Harrison Ford attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) I figured you wouldn't be mad at seeing Segel twice if getting to see Indiana Jones was part of the package. ## Nava Mau and Jessica Gunning ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198049765-1738883258-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Nava Mau and Jessica Gunning attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images for AFI) Yes, we are STILL in *Baby Reindeer* season, apparently! These two absolutely look like they're going to vastly different events, like someone going to a gala is posing with her best friend from the office. Nava looks objectively great, though. I think Jessica needed a blazer here, although I do love her Docs. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198057690-1738884999.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Nava Mau and Jessica Gunning attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images for AFI) I knew it!! It is better! ## Kali Reis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198041252-1738883068-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Kali Reis attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) Kali Reis basically looks incredibly cool 100% of the time. ## Adriana Paz, Édgar Ramírez, Zoe Saldana and Jacques Audiard ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198052527-1738883292-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: (L-R) Adriana Paz, Édgar Ramírez, Zoe Saldana and Jacques Audiard attend the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) "Please don't ask us about Karla." ## Justine Lupe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198057612-1738883401-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Justine Lupe attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images for AFI) This is unobjectionable but I do think it could use some jewelry? ## Ralph Fiennes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198043724-1738883142-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Ralph Fiennes attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) Also same. ## Cristin Milioti ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198043932-1738883169-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Cristin Milioti attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) I like how severe this is. I wonder if it might be better served by different shoes? Not that they are bad -- they're neutral. But maybe they could have done something....MORE on her feet? ## Brett Goldstein ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2198044449-1738883198-scaled.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 06: Brett Goldstein attends the AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on February 06, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for AFI) Also might be enlivened by a giant gold pendant or something. COME ON!
