She's colorful and eye-catching and sassy (like the rest of the race-goers) but not tacky. There was a rude article that I read whilst reading about this event noting that not only was Coleen Rooney -- wife (are they getting divorced? One of you surely knows! Do tell, Fug Nation) of footballer Wayne Rooney -- present, so was "one of his favorite prostitutes." I HATE it when that happens. ## Liverpool footballer Raul Meireles and his wife Ivone Meireles ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2011/04/spl266517_012.jpg) I don't know much about Ivone -- although Kickette assures me her bitchface (not at all seen here) is impressive, and that makes me like her. [Aintree Grand National Fab and Fun OmnibusWell! This is going to be fun. I love when people get all dressed up and go to the races. You know, here in the US, we always think of something like the Grand National here as being SUPER posh and classy -- well, and also as something to be won by Elizabeth Taylor as Velvet on her trusty horse Pie, in what was easily my favorite movie as a kid, National Velvet -- and while I am sure some aspects of it are indeed Posh and Classy, it also just looks, from photos, like a TOTAL PARTY. Apparently "Ladies' Day" features prizes given to the most stylish race-goers, and there seem to be many, many WAGs in attendance.
