I have to just accept that it seems nutty to be to be at the racetrack in a formal gown and say: I kind of love this. She's colorful and eye-catching and sassy (like the rest of the race-goers) but not tacky. Good for you, Race-Going Girl!

You know how I feel about a fascinator. Although I have the uneasy sense that peacock feathers are unlucky (did I make that up?), this one is kind of awesome.

Okay: can we just take a moment to squee over how awesome the hats are going to be at The Wedding? That's all. I love this one, too -- she looks like birthday present, in the best way. (Bonus points for making that hat the center of her look.)

WOW. I applaud this and also worry that I might run into trees if I was wearing something so bold over an eye at a place where there was drinking.

I enjoy this. She looks like a cute extra from The Jetsons.

Coleen Rooney! There was a rude article that I read whilst reading about this event noting that not only was Coleen Rooney -- wife (are they getting divorced? One of you surely knows! Do tell, Fug Nation) of footballer Wayne Rooney -- present, so was "one of his favorite prostitutes." I HATE it when that happens.

I don't know much about Ivone -- although Kickette assures me her bitchface (not at all seen here) is impressive, and that makes me like her. I also think these two look quite cute together; I enjoy the juxtaposition of her tattoo sleeve with her ladylike coat; and I love those shoes.

Oh, Yolanda. On the other hand, Pepe looks DREAMY. (Don't tell me if rumor has it that he's terrible.)(Okay, go ahead and tell me; I love gossip.)

Aw! The Coles look totally cute. Also: is it warm in England right now? Because I live in Los Angeles and I'm wearing a giant sweater right now.

I don't know this person. But I do know that she and Johnny Weir should make a buddy comedy. PICTURE IT.

SOMEONE is going to look classy and appropriate if it kills her. And that someone is Princess Anne. Bonus points for the riding boots. PS, Anne: Thanks for answering my question about the weather.

PEOPLE. PRINCESS ANNE IS THERE. GET A GRIP. (Although: your flexibility is impressive.)

....until next year!
