Even Allison's stylist captioned this, "Two are better than one." But are they? If it's that cold, can't you just -- bear with my insanity here -- wear a warmer coat? Or earmuffs, if a hat would mess up your hair? I have fake fur earmuffs that are collapsible, and they were a dream when we went to Fashion Week. I don't understand why you would want to wrangle TWO woolly coats when you get inside wherever you're going. So that means it's altogether too obvious that you're only dressing for show.

THAT coat, I really love. And the all-silver outfit is cool, except for how it's SO MUCH unruly satin. The shirt makes the pants look like they have a paper bag waist -- I don't think they do -- because the tucking is so messy, and I think the pants are too long. But she wore this on the way OUT...

... and this on the way in, and I have yet to fully understand the full or even partial outfit changes that seem to accompany being on Build Series. I guess if it's just one stop on your day and you need to switch clothes after coming FROM something, but... that's not always the case, I don't believe. Maybe this is because she knew the satin pants wouldn't stand up to the car ride, but then why bother with totally different shoes? The kicker being that I might like this better as leather pants, if only and I also really wish I could SEE the whole outfit with leather pants instead. Oh, Allison. A head-scratching series of events indeed.
