Considering it was terribly warm out in Los Angeles on the day of the premiere, this is basically perfect: She looks totally glamorous but also vaguely beachy, and primed for that weird LA October witching hour where it's HOTTER THAN DOOM and then the sun inches down a fraction and suddenly a breeze kicks in and it's 70 degrees and perfect.

This is Amal's mother, Baria, and she looks awesomely dramatic. If I told you that she spent 20 years on a soap before transitioning into a parent role on a lesser CW show, and then got a job in an indie film that surprised everyone and is settling into critically acclaimed older roles, you would believe me.

Her head looks fantastic. Great earrings, great hair, perfect makeup. It LOOKS like it was effortless but probably took hours.

Oh, and here's this dude. We have had SO MUCH WORK he could have helped with, but nooooo, he had to go lick his wounds over how little Toronto liked his film.

I wish my tricep could do that.
