I know this is not the easiest angle for a photo, but that is not terribly flattering, which is unusual for Amal. The elastic is drooping over her hip a little. I do like the gold lame, so maybe she just... yanked it down too hard after a bathroom stop?

This is garish in a way that I find delightful. But since the pants open, I think I'd have gone with a proper heel rather than a bootie.

That is the best her head has looked in a long time, and the most she has looked like a tablecloth in a long time.

She's in *13 Reasons Why*, and I was just thinking to myself the other day that I'm actively upset that didn't get any acting love at the Emmys. I thought it was devastatingly well performed, all the more astonishing because the teens were mostly newcomers. That doesn't mean I like Ajiona's pajama shirt, but it DOES mean that if it doesn't get Globe noms you can look forward to me carping about it again. (SURELY the HFPA will give it a nod.)

My eyes tricked me, so for a second I thought part of the background was her hairdo. She looks splendid in this, which feels 90s to me except for the transparency. But that color and her makeup are perfect.

They look like the cool couple you meet on vacation who turn out to be swingers. JUST like when it happened to Jim and Cindy Walsh, except... well, cool, like I said.

Elizabeth is Julia Roberts' stylist, and I've always thought she looked faintly like they could be related. Cody, whom you might recognize from *Magic Mike*, is wearing the most hideously unflattering thing I have ever seen. She looks like a cabinet.

That's uncomplicated math right there.
