I feel like Cookie Lyon from *Empire* would want this. That's not just a gown, it's a whole bedroom set. ## Ciara in Georges Hobeika ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189848573-1574666503.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Ciara poses backstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. (She needs to release a perfume called So Ciara.) ## Ciara in Mugler ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189868048-1574666568.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Ciara poses backstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by JC Olivera/Getty Images) This is the Vegas Wedding version of what she wore on the red carpet. (It kind of has a Britney feel to it, doesn't it?) ## Camila with Shawn Mendes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189844105-1574666487.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: (L-R) Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes perform onstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. Halsey, from left, Camila Cabello and Taylor Swift perform at the American Music Awards, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2019 American Music Awards - Show, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 These two joined Taylor for "Shake It Off," which I keep thinking ended her set until I remember that she did "Lover" on her piano... ## Taylor Swift ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10481442cn-1574666594.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (10481442cn) Taylor Swift 47th Annual American Music Awards, Show, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 ... while wearing a giant pink cape... ## with Misty Copeland ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189854164-1574667872.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Taylor Swift performs onstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. It was lovely. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10484372df-1574666644.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10484372df) Taylor Swift, winner of the artist of the decade award, performs a medley at the American Music Awards, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2019 American Music Awards - Show, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 Taylor opened her set with this outfit, which has all the names of her albums stamped on it ("Fearless" was on the back). ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189869462-1574667881.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Misty Copeland, Taylor Swift and Craig Hall attend the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. This seems like it's falling off her, but I freely acknowledge it's possibly because she's hunched over at the mic. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10484372cv-1574666636.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10484372cv) Halsey, left, performs "Graveyard" at the American Music Awards, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2019 American Music Awards - Show, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 She also performed, and I really enjoyed it. This started out starkly white, both the set and their outfits, and then as they danced they smeared each other and everything else with paint. It was small but engrossing and therefore felt personal, which I often prefer to LOOK HOW MUCH STAGE I CAN USE. ## Toni Braxton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10481442ay-1574666585.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (10481442ay) Toni Braxton 47th Annual American Music Awards, Show, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 I didn't realize Toni won the first-ever AMA, or something? So she sang "Unbreak My Heart" with a microphone bearing her name in case you weren't sure. That is a LOT of fabric, for so little of it to cover her. ## Selena Gomez in Norma Kamali ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189852177-1574666527.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Selena Gomez performs onstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/AMA2019/FilmMagic for dcp) And THEN she put on this thing, which I assume is an ode to Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy from... whatever Batman movie that was. ## Kesha ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10484405bz-1574666666.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup/Shutterstock (10484405bz) Kesha 47th Annual American Music Awards, Show, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 EVERYONE called their waxers this week. ## Shania Twain ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/GettyImages-1189863439-1574666552.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 24: Shania Twain performs onstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 24, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Tommaso Boddi/WireImage) EVERYONE. (Shania did a weird acoustic bit that mashed up her songs with other people's, and sounded... unlike herself. The Internet tells me that Lyme Disease has stolen her voice? That is awful. She did some of her peppy hits and I think lip-synched to them, and it reminded me what a freaking BANGER "I Feel Like a Woman" is. I hope she can get back some of what was lost. ## Christina Aguilera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10484354db-1574666629.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10484354db) Ian Axel, Christina Aguilera. Ian Axel, background left, of Great Big World, and Christina Aguilera perform "Fall On Me" at the American Music Awards, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2019 American Music Awards - Show, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 This is if Lady Gaga came out with a line of wedding gowns. ## Dua Lipa ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10481442ed-1574666604.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (10481442ed) Dua Lipa 47th Annual American Music Awards, Show, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 More leotards for the road. ## Lizzo in Dauxilly ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_editorial_10484405ax-1574666658.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup/Shutterstock (10484405ax) Lizzo 47th Annual American Music Awards, Show, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Nov 2019 And then Lizzo killed a ballad in this beautiful froofy confection. Dylan was like, "I can see her leg! It's GREAT." Amen, D.
