Very VERY few actresses would have worn this headpiece, but of course the headpiece is what makes it so entertaining. Come on, everyone -- please stick more things on your head on the red carpet.
I will say that when I saw this shot on Karla Welch's Instagram -- she styles Amber -- I thought it was Emily Blunt. I never noticed how much Emily and Amber look alike. I also thought, "WOW that's a BOLD LOOK for a Mary Poppins event!"
I am not in love with the slit....
...but when it looks like this is a column dress with a train, it's pretty divine. (I suppose she does need to be able to walk. FINE.)
And it looks AMAZING from the side. All around, despite my tiny notes and nitpicks, the overall effect is pretty spectacular here.
And there is something about this train that also feels highly aquatic. I haven't had enough coffee to hammer out the "Shape of Water"/"Aquaman" hybrid joke I've got ratting around in my head, but I promise you: It's in there.
