The color is good! But the material looks like it was bought at Aahs costumes. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565357t-1582612563.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10565357t) Nafessa Williams attends the American Black Film Festival Honors Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif The American Black Film Festival Honors Awards, Beverly Hills, USA - 23 Feb 2020 AND THEN. In the immortal words of Ace of Base, don't turn around. (She in fact didn't, but this was far enough.) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10563799go-1582612468.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/Shutterstock (10563799go) Nafessa Williams American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 It's such a shame, too, because how DELIGHTFUL and GORGEOUS is this person? I just want her to have a dress worthy of this head. ## Melina Matsoukas ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565357ag-1582612541.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10565357ag) Melina Matsoukas attends the American Black Film Festival Honors Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif The American Black Film Festival Honors Awards, Beverly Hills, USA - 23 Feb 2020 Speaking of cheap-looking fabrics, I think maybe this one ALSO came from a costume store. (Though the dress itself is the most regular thing she's worn.) ## Da'Vine Joy Randolph ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346at-1582612493.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346at) Da'Vine Joy Randolph American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 Did everyone go shop TOGETHER? This jumpsuit makes me want to scream. It is SO semi-homemade *Grease* finale. ## Lena Waithe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346bl-1582612510.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346bl) Lena Waithe American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 Wearing Rich Fresh Monochromatic lilac is no easy feat, but this is sharp. ## Deon Cole ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346ax-1582612502.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346ax) Deon Cole American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 He hosted, and he ALSO has gone with a very strong aesthetic here, and I do also think THIS works. Points for the boldness of the shoe. Animal print is a neutral. ## Lil Rel Howery ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346r-1582612526.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346r) Lil Rel Howery American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 Am I remembering correctly that EVERY TIME he shows up, I say, "Who knew Lil Rel was such a snazzy dresser"? I feel like we've had this conversation before. He looks awesome. ## Rob Morgan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346bw-1582612518.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346bw) Rob Morgan American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 And he is always dapper. ## Jamie Foxx ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565357p-1582612555.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10565357p) Jamie Foxx attends the American Black Film Festival Honors Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif The American Black Film Festival Honors Awards, Beverly Hills, USA - 23 Feb 2020 I don't know how I feel about these wrap-style tux coats, with the buttons so far over to the side. I guess it's trying. But the classic tux is hard to improve upon? ## American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565347u-1582612534.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (10565347u) Jamie Foxx American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 I need to understand more about this photo. Did he bring his own backpack? Is this a backpack with Bluetooth or USB speakers build into it? Is this the TROPHY he gets for being Excellent at the Arts or whatever? Man, awards ceremonies really ought to look into statuettes that are functional. Make it so the Oscar is hollow and comes with a straw, so you can pour a bottle of red into him and drink. I'm SURE a gift shop somewhere has thought of this. ## Boris Kodjoe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565346a-1582612485.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (10565346a) Boris Kodjoe American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 YES. I still would have tossed in a bracelet. ## CCH Pounder ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565357am-1582612548.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (10565357am) Pounder attends the American Black Film Festival Honors Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif The American Black Film Festival Honors Awards, Beverly Hills, USA - 23 Feb 2020 This was captioned just, "POUNDER." Now I want her to have a show called POUNDER. It could be fiction, or she could be playing herself, in basically any profession. A judge! A divorce mediator! A mayor! Whatever. ## Erica Ash ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10563799fp-1582612459.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/Shutterstock (10563799fp) Erica Ash American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 Those sleevs are a delight. And if there's traffic when she leaves, she can just flap them and fly home. ## Michael Hyatt ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10563799v-1582612477.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/Shutterstock (10563799v) Michael Hyatt American Black Film Festival Honors, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, USA - 23 Feb 2020 I miss *Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.* [Nafessa Williams Missed This Year's Fug Madness Cutoff With This...... but what a start for her 2020-21 run.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2020/02/shutterstock_editorial_10565357w-1582612570.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/nafessa-williams-missed-this-years-fug-madness-cutoff-with-this-02-2020/)
