This might become my go-to Meme of Approval. I will never feel good about myself again unless Prince is supporting me thusly.

It seems Gwen has been coping with divorce through macrame.

I just wish I knew what he was trying to tell me.

This was the finale -- no, wait, I'm sorry. It was The T-Mobile Finale. (For real. Like how sporting events sponsor every little graphic, now awards shows are selling the finale. After Ciara's intro, a voiceover dude said, "And now it's time for the T-Mobile Finale," and at the end, he said, "You just experience a game-changing T-Mobile Finale." And you've just experienced a Jif Smooth Peanut Butter Complaint of the Day.)
I'm sure dancing in the rain, during a medley of songs designed to convey that he's humble, sounded like an awesome idea. But it was hilarious. It came down SO HARD on his head while he was singing. Anytime he wandered into the spray it looked like a prank someone pulled on him.

Prank achievement UNLOCKED.

I know, Nicki. It probably IS too late for him to say sorry, although the last photo does go a long way toward helping his cause.

The Weeknd walked through fire, which come to think of it may be why he can't feel his face.

Selena wore a body stocking to sing her kiss-off to Bieber. I guess it's... more interesting than if she had left OFF the bodystocking?

However, an unfortunate side effect of the bodystocking is that it can bunch to the point where my eyes mistake it for buttock, and I erroneously fear her head is on the wrong way.

Let us all pause to enjoy this backup dancer. Oh, he's helping Selena dance. He's supporting her. But in his heart? It's YOU he holds.

He has to leave now. He hopes we will not forget him when the other backup dancers lock him in a closet later.

This is cute, right? It might be the most reasonable thing so far, anyway.

This wins for Most Poorly Concealed Tear-Away Skirt.

It's not like what it tore away to reveal was all that surprising, either. What's the point? Why not surprise us by NOT tearing away your skirt?

This dress is called A Gust of Wind Stole My Innocence.

So. These two. Charlie sings on that Wiz Khalifa song that was used as a Paul Walker tribute in Furious7, and Meghan, you probably know. And of course they're denying they're a couple. But like... did anyone care that much? Nothing against either of them, but it's not like this is Gwen and Blake sucking face on-stage, or Ben Affleck and Gal Godot (our future Wonder Woman). It's two people nobody was wondering about, begging you to wonder about what you otherwise would never have even THOUGHT to wonder about.

I would have loved to see this short program.

I DID see Demi and Alanis singing "You Oughtta Know" together, and I enjoyed it a lot. My love for that Alanis has not diminished, even after "Thank U" Alanis came along and kinda harshed my buzz.

"So, Paula. Um. I don't know what to... hmm. Hey, how 'bout them '80s. Those were something, huh?"

He looks like he's posing for International Male. Also, please enjoy this pasted description of International Male from Wikipedia: "International Male was a vendor of men's casual, office-casual, and some gallant clothing items which are or were at various price levels and which are and were generally geared to the dandy."

Celine sang an Edith Piaf song as a tribute to Paris, and while it was touching, I also thought she struggled to hit a couple of the notes and sounded hoarse at times. I wonder if she's sick. It was only really notable because I've NEVER heard her be that way. She mostly sounded fine though, and she certainly looked great. Now I kind of want her and Diddy to be a power couple. Someday.

Han Solo can come along and be the third prong in that random-ass love triangle.
