I know, I know, what a hot take THAT is. ## Kerry with Steven Pasquale ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959198m-1541404667.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959198m) Steven Pasquale and Kerry Washington 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, After Party, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Steven (you might recognize him from *The Good Wife*, or a whole bunch of other things; he's also a theatre mainstay) is Kerry's co-star, and he looks very smart indeed, if also potentially a bit tense. Perhaps he's stil in character. ## Phillipa Soo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196q-1541404626.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196q) Phillipa Soo 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Yes, that's ELIZAAAAAA; she's married to Steven, so it follows that she'd pop by to support. I like her coat a lot. I am not as confident about the dress underneath, so let's just keep on the layers. ## Renee Elise Goldsberry ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196ao-1541404557.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196ao) Renee Elise Goldsberry 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 This appears to have hammock DNA. ## Tatiana Maslany ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196t-1541404636.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196t) Tatiana Maslany 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Oh, TATIANA. What is going on with her aesthetic lately? She looks like an SNL character. Just... any random SNL character. ## Gabrielle Union in Rebecca de Ravenel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196b-1541404576.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196b) Gabrielle Union 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 That is kind of a kooky skirt but she looks FANTASTIC in this. ## Jennifer Nettles ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196y-1541404646.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196y) Jennifer Nettles 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Why did Jennifer Nettles feel this was a See-Through Top kind of night? ## Uzo Aduba ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196m-1541404617.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196m) Uzo Aduba 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Paper-bag-waisted pants aren't a TON better, but they ARE better. ## Nnamdi Asomugha ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196ax-1541404566.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196ax) Nnamdi Asomugha 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 He is a handsome guy, and I wish my eyes could tell if that's a navy sweater under a black suit, or what. ## Tony Goldwyn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196g-1541404606.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196g) Tony Goldwyn 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 Fitz looks tired. ## Brandon Victor Dixon ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/11/shutterstock_9959196bt-1541404587.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Paul Zimmerman/REX/Shutterstock (9959196bt) Brandon Victor Dixon 'American Son' Broadway play opening night, Arrivals, New York, USA - 04 Nov 2018 He looks very smart.
