Carrie in Chanel 2000
This is totally the wardrobe department's way of counteracting the whole "Carrie would never wear that" criticisms, because she DID wear that. SHOULD she have worn it? I think it's kind of hideous (and see-through -- clock the black bra), but at least this outfit does feel like the grown-up version of what she did before.
SJP has a States Project going and has been great about promoting it in the set pap shots. After we featured it last time, we were approached about starting one ourselves, and we did; we JUST finished it yesterday (under Drinks With Broads, a less, er, controversial name). It's basically a way to raise money for the down-ballot races that really need the financial help. We're targeting swing states.

Her outfits are TOTALLY bonkers, but I get such a kick out of them. There is something a little less strained and more GLEEFUL about how vibrantly wack some of them are.
Like, I hate those pants, the sheer layers are BONKERS and I don't even understand them, and I don't buy her in the shoes (Chanel I think? Or imitators). But it's fun, and the army of colorfully clad women behind her is also amusing. Like she's rallied the fashion troops.

The bearded dude here, and in the last shot, is I guess a famous extra in New York called Radio Man who usually wears a radio around his neck?!? He's been in a lot of the pap shots from this shoot, and I usually ignore him because I don't fully understand his deal, but this was the only one I had of Sarita. I am not super on board with her culottes or her top.

That's her back right there and it's sort of... nude-look but too tight? Also, there's Miranda, with a purse that I don't think looks great with that outfit.
