Carrie Bradshaw's flower brooches were a big signature deal for a while on SATC, so it makes sense that they'd come back -- but like with everything, this version feels like a really limp retread. And what is that shirt? Carrie Bradshaw would never.
Honestly, I think the costumers are in their heads about how to update Carrie's wardrobe to account for... the passage of time, perhaps... and the answer appears to be, "Make the Talbots version of her outfits," and I don't think it works. (I also don't know if I'd adapt her wardrobe that much? Carrie never seemed like someone who was going to grow into a different style; she seems like a lifetime advocate for Age Is Just A Number; Dress How You Feel.) THIS perhaps feels more like something SJP would wear now than what Carrie would.

If anyone was worried about whether Harry or Anthony were still with us: They are. Evan Handler is on his phone in almost every shot, and I can't tell if they're the ones from during filming or between setups. Is EVAN checking his email, or is Harry constantly glued to his phone and this will be some tired storyline?
