I've said this before, but I am very curious how this older version of Carrie will feel. Obviously they're thinking to evolve her style, but doesn't this feel more like something Miranda would have worn? Or even Charlotte? Also, I would be deeply concerned about the tassel on my purse somehow ending up under my shoe. Or someone else's.

In case you doubted me about Fritz. In my crossover universe, he's there to investigate Big, and possibly whether Carrie poisoned his Metamucil. But he falls in love with her, because obviously. (Brenda Leigh Johnson, at this point, has dumped him for Kevin Bacon, who will be played by Kevin Bacon.)

Carrie is getting back her taste in whimsical shoes. They kind of look like she made them herself. Like "And Just Like That..." mixed with "PS I Love You," where Hilary Swank glues shit to a shoe and decides to design them for a living. And also other stuff happens.

More whimsical footwear! And whimsical stripes. I didn't see her standing up in this, so I can't tell if it looks like PJs or if it actually works.

Miranda, meanwhile, is in a tracksuit and clogs. I feel that the clogs might track; not sure the expensive leisurewear does, but I admit my memory is fuzzy on the subject of Miranda's clothes, which of the four always felt like the show's lowest priority.

And Charlotte is reliably floral. I think, barring a surprise that is invisible to us in these photos -- like... I don't know, a lapel made of paper clips -- I quite like each piece of Carrie's outfit. I'm open to it. I'M OPEN, CARRIE.
