So, you all know my theory that Big is dead -- or, he disappeared himself because of shady business dealings and is presumed dead -- and Carrie is Dealing With It. Do we think she's dealing with it by moving upstate and trying to learn to make jam? The ONLY way this makes sense to me is if Carrie is trying to cosplay rural life in that off-the-mark way only she can. Otherwise I don't buy this outfit at all; Carrie does not seem like she'd be caught dead in that dress over that shirt. Maybe Carrie IS dead and this whole show is about her trying to trick herself into believing Purgatory is the real world.

It is especially unfortunate for poor Carrie the Jamstress (what do we think she calls it -- Sex and the Chutney? Berry Bradshaw?) that she meets up with Natasha looking like she was just stomping grapes, when Natasha is crisp as a spring breeze.

I cannot tell if the look on Natasha's face is compassion, or irritation. It could be both. Perhaps she's seen the cartoon on Carrie's back, and she's tasted the signature product Cherry Bradshaw and she knows things are not going well. Or maybe she is politely gritting her teeth through this because she sincerely never wanted to see Carrie again, ever, which is a feeling to which I can relate after having seen both movies.
