Okay, scenarios in which this is real would include... ... Carrie in disguise? Is there some slapstick snooping going on? Are those real gloves or rubber ones? Is she trying to get inside someone's house by pretending she's applying for a housekeeping job? Are we all supposed to be wearing our shoes unbuckled now? I also cannot believe she's smoking still? (That part does not seem to be fake, because we've seen it in other fairly real-looking shots.) If this is a fake costume, it's BRILLIANT, because it's BONKERS. If it's real... god dammit, they really are going to get me to watch this show, aren't they?

This is only one fleeting shot in a whole folder of solo pictures of SJP, so I also don't think THAT person is part of any potential fakery? She just seems. I don't know. But she was only present here. WHAT is that outfit on this actress/extra/probably not a PA but I guess anything's possible? Her boots are purses. HER BOOTS. ARE PURSES.

Well. Look. This is a lovely garment. I don't know, obviously, why she's wearing it, or what the context is, but: If there is any show that I can COMPLETELY trust to handle what appears to be a cultural or culturally inspired costume in a sensitive, measured, respectful way... it is not this one. Honey, I saw the second movie. My hopes are low.
