I know it's winter, but Carrie just looks so... LADEN... in this. It's swallowing her up and not in a chic way. I particularly dislike that thick strand of beads around her neck, which looks plonked there without any thought. And I cannot IMAGINE wanting to carry a gigantic bag that large in New York without even the OPTION to sling it over your shoulder. Then again, Carrie Bradshaw surely only takes chauffeured cars and the occasional taxi to get around.
So many layers, and then open-toed boots and vented knee socks. Is it the blanket wrap that's sending this over the edge? I'm also wondering what's under the blazer. What IS this melange.

Apologies to Bag Boots, who is now wearing Waistband Boots, but why is this character even still around? She only ever existed to fawn over Carrie, and I definitely need less of that. And then she was a convenient buyer for the apartment. But there's no chemistry there, and we don't need to pander to a younger audience. The show being about older women was supposed to be the point!

Would this count as a harem pant JUMPSUIT? Maybe halfway? It is at least very Seema, but unfortunately for Seema, I have not been able to care about Seema. They just never did anything interesting with OR for her. The ONE time I liked her was when she called Carrie out on being a bad friend, if I remember correctly, but that passed pretty quickly.

Miranda looks like she was trying to stalk someone at a nursery and she hoped she'd blend in. Charlotte looks great, in the usual manner. (It's also possible we've seen some of these earlier in the shoot and I just forgot, but honestly, if we have to look at that coat again... so be it.)
