I thought Kristen did a really nice, low-key job with this, attempting a brief monologue but also adding in a heartfelt message before shepherding the show along. Do I wish she'd hosted in clogs and a bad blouse as Eleanor Shellstrop, and brought along the rest of *The Good Place* cast, all in character? Yes. But presumably several of them were helping mourn the departure of Blake Bortles from the NFL post-season.
