As I mentioned [yesterday on our post about the Oscar nominations](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/2023-oscar-nominations-allison-williams-cape-01-2023/), I've had the words "Andrea Riseborough red carpet retrospective???" written on a Post-It on my desk for literally years. I just never got around to it. But the day has come, now that she's gotten a shocker nod for Best Actress. ([Even she was surprised](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/24/movies/andrea-riseborough-oscar-nomination-to-leslie.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)!) [Many, many times throughout the years that we'd been doing this site,](https://www.gofugyourself.com/celebs/andrea-riseborough?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I've commented that I have Andrea Riseborough Face Blindness. I remember a while ago that a journalist mentioned to her that she was hard to recognize from project to project (and I wish I could find this piece to link to it! If you wrote it, let me know!) and she was taken aback. But looking at Andrea's pics from the last fifteen-ish years, the woman is a chameleon -- which I actually think is a plus for a serious actor. She also dramatically changes up her hair AND vibe *a lot.* (If you think about it, most super-recognizable actors pick a look and really stick with it, [even if that look is Kooky David Bowie Enthusiast](https://www.gofugyourself.com/celebs/tilda-swinton?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) I'm still unsure if I'd recognize her if she came up to me at the market and asked me where the Yoplait was. But I can tell you one thing for sure: She has worn some INTERESTING STUFF. Let's take a look.

PS: If you love red carpet retrospectives of Oscar nominees, don't miss the ones we've done for [Cate Blanchett](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-cate-blanchett-style-retrospective-is-here-03-2020/), [Angela Bassett](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/its-the-angela-bassett-style-retrospective-06-2020/), and [Michelle Yeoh](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/here-are-60-pictures-of-michelle-yeoh-in-honor-of-her-60th-birthday-08-2022/).
