Eveyone here looks totally nice; the kids look very snappy, and Angie's dress is low key (as is her wont) but elegant. I can see Angelina AND Brad both in Shiloh's sweet little face, but the next snap is PURE Pitt to me. WAIT FOR IT...

Right? I feel like everyone who's ever been to a Brad Pitt movie recognizes that expression. Zahara's expression of loving bemusement is also touching to me. There is something indeniably weird about the fact that our celebrity culture means we're all watching a variety of kids grow up -- and certainly Angie herself knows what it's like to have a famous parent -- but there's also something sort of nice about having residual feelings of affection for other people, just because you remember seeing them on the cover of People when they were babies.

This is all very in keeping with the Lady of The Manor aesthetic she tends to reach for when she's not promoting Maleficient (which veered a little Slightly Evil in a way I enjoyed very much). It works on her. The shoes are a disappointment, of course, but what else is new?

Not disappointing? That MAJOR pin; her great pink lipstick (which looks fab on her); this much shorter hair, which is fetching. Keep it up, Ang.
