This would have been perfect during the pandemic. It keeps EVERYONE a safe distance away. She could also have put cocktail wieners on the end of all the spears, and been multi-purpose. It's also interesting to have her wearing an art piece like this right before a Met Gala whose theme is partly about clothes that can't -- or shouldn't, ahem, KIM K -- be worn again. It's eye-catching and effective, but... is it weird if I think the shoes are ruinous?
In this shot you can see that her toes are sliding off the front -- she's hanging ten in those suckers -- and in the other slide, I just can't abide the look of them. The runway version had see-through plastic booties and I don't like that EITHER but I thought they were better.
No one right now can do headgear like she does. She'd probably even look this good in actual orthodontic headgear.

I can think of a lot of co-stars around whom an actor might ACTIVELY want to wear a distance-enforcer. Hopefully the Hems isn't one such costar.
