# Anya Taylor-Joy on Elle

Anya has incredibly arresting eyes, and this photographer absolutely gets that. This photo is very cool -- she looks like she's in the midst of a feline crawl across the lawn, and/or as if she's actually coming up out of it -- and her eyes anchor the entire thing.

I am less enamored of the subscriber cover, only because the flower in her mouth is... weird. If Photoshop weren't a thing I'd say she's using it to cover a zit, like when shows have pregnant ladies hold giant purses or stick them behind desks to hide the belly. I don't know why we need to make it look like she's snacking on plant life.

She is ALSO possibly about to snack on this tulle, though again, her eyes carry this entire enterprise.

Is SHE being consumed by the tulle, and not vice-versa?

She'd look very cool with a pixie. I can't think what model she's reminding me of here -- is it very faint Agyness Deyn vibes?

I'm impressed she can hold this pose while still connecting head-on with the camera. JESSICA THERE IS A BIRD ON THE NEXT SLIDE. SKIP IT.
