First it was Mark Indelicato -- with his guest Ana Ortiz -- at Hacks, and now, here come Becki Newton and Christopher Gorham to promote *The Lincoln Lawyer*. It's a series based on books by Michael Connolly, about a lawyer who, WAIT FOR IT, runs his practice out of his car. Sounds a bit like *Ed* to me, but with grittier aspirations, which I know because IMDb calls him an "iconoclastic idealist." The Wikipedia synopsis of the book really made me laugh; no spoilers, but it says, at the end, "He also conducts much self-examination and acquires some emotional baggage." You know, that ALSO sounds like *Ed*.
