# Aretha Franklin Wore a Truly Great Outfit on This Day in 1972

Aretha is pictured in London here -- I suspect she was promoting her live gospel album, *Amazing Grace* (which is indeed amazing), which had come out in the States in June of this same year -- and WHAT A DREAM to be kicking around a park in a fab mini-dress and great boots. May we all have a summer that looks somewhat like this again one day. (I mean, I guess we could all put on our outfits and go to a park?)
